Further Progress on Lawrence Livermore DICE Project
Oakland, NJ - July 19, 2024: Today, Pete Sacco, founder and CEO of PTS Data Center Solutions, Inc. (PTS), announced today that its INTUVA division has reached a significant milestone today at its DICE project for National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), located in Livermore, CA. The INTUVA team, through joint effort, succeeded in installing 90,000 linear feet, or approximately 17 miles, of conduit into the ground to service equipment, power, and controls - a total of 17 miles of underground lines.
DICE, which stands for Digital Infrastructure Capability Expansion, is a critical upgrade for LLNL’s networking and communications. A decade in the making, the 13,000 square-foot facility is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2025. It will provide LLNL with a modern, resilient digital infrastructure to support future technological advancements and the Lab’s increasing demands in support of the NNSA’s national security mission over the next 40 years.
